Modes of Criticism is a design criticism journal published annually. It examines what is meant by ‘criticality’ in design, and works towards the politicization of its discourse and practice through a variety of disciplinary intersections.
This volume investigates the use of the word 'radical' in design discourse and practice, tracing precedents, problems and challenges for the future of the discipline. Featuring contributions by Danah Abdulla, Anne-Marie Willis, Tanveer Ahmed, Kenneth FitzGerald, Anja Groten, and Hannah Ellis.
